I hope this newsletter finds you well, and you had a lovely Easter. Hasn’t this year been strange? Well as I always say, I’m just working hard and trying to survive! Survival remains my aim, daily! Wondering why those ladiesfought so hard for me to vote and have equal rights! I could really do with a little “housewife” life right now! It’s blinking hard working full time, then doing all the jobs expected of a non-working mum! It’s when theother half won’t wash up because it’s “ a woman’s job “ yes, don’t worry he’s only survived this long because I can’t do the jail time believe me! To be honest, how exhausted I am those suffragette’s can take my vote back … I don’t want equal today! I know I’m being a woman and moaning … but you tryholding down a full time job … cooking like a Michelin chef … cleaning like you have OCD … being an attentive mum and teacher, then keeping your partner happy ( Ok , I don’t keep him happy but I know many loving, caring woman out there do with their partners. So I wanted to mention them ) I just need aweek off to stare at a wall … imagine just sitting there , staring.
Now I’ve stopped staring at my office wall, I am going to bring to your attention the most valid point, Money Savings! Yes Hunt 4 has launched a “ loyalty reward “ scheme, because well every little helps, just like Tesco! You may have already received our proposal of discounted rates if you are using us at present. We have dedicated time , looking at our clients and planning what discounts would work for their operation. If you haven’t yet received a loyalty scheme proposal or you would like to know what it is all about , please contact me. Because this year the recruitment market has changed significantly!
Bringing me onto my next very important point, Scam recruitment agencies. Yes, they are out there, and I’ve been keeping an eye on what they are up to. As all our clients know, one thing you can trust with HR Employment is the honesty and dedication we show. We are not out to “ rip off” our clients, and we ensure we keep our rates as low as possible. There are agencies out there , selling as they do and telling clients the same speal “ we provide better staff, guaranteed “ blah blah, then charge a fortune for the “ better staff “. Well, I will explain about the recruitment market at present. After covid and up to December 23 it has been harder to find good people. As many clients will know , you book in 10 interviews, and you get 1 good applicant. We got through that period being honest with our clients , thinking outside the box and doing all we could to supply. Since January the market has far more good candidatesavailable , it is now a lot easier to recruit and this is the time your agency should be coming to you withcost savings, especially with the Min wage increase. If agencies are knocking your door, with their expensive blah blah patter , challenge them. It may help stop the spread of recruitment sales reps that are full of crap!
Moving onto an even more important point! HMRC fraud and Bank detail change fraud have been rife this year, according to our bank ,who halted our PAYE payment to HMRC. Apparently, companies are getting calls to say they owe money to HMRC and the debt must be paid immediately. Also company accounts are getting phone calls to change bank details for supplier’s, and it’s a scam. These are more likely to hit companies with big national agencies supplying etc as the fraudster will contact the company, posing as calling from a well known agency that they are aware your working with. Please double check any calls, changing bank details or asking for large payments.
